Angry Cage
I've been in this town,
For far too long
But something's nagging at me,
And so I can't move on
My days are crazy,
Like waking dreams
But I prefer them all,
To my night times of screams!
My body is a prison!
Why can't you see?
My body is a prison!
Encompassing me!
I am so different,
And so strange
So don't you rattle the bars...
Of my angry cage...
I have visions,
Of reality
Odd looking creatures,
A lot like me!
A mistress, a creator,
Who could she be?
Hers is the one face,
That I always see!
My body is a prison!
It won't let me be!
My body is a prison!
Encompassing me!
I am so different,
And so strange
So don't you rattle the bars...
Of my angry cage!
I confess I have a need...
A feeling, a desire
Burning inside of me!
I am starting to think...
That this is where I am supposed to be!
These things, they aren't the same,
But they are a lot like me!
My body is a prison!
Her eyes burn with glee!
My body is a prison!
Encompassing me!
From them I'm not so different,
Or so strange!
And it feels so weird,
To be able to relate!
But you still shouldn't rattle the bars...
